Warm-up: This section helps prepare the body for dance. It includes body isolation, stretches, increases flexibility and builds up stamina.
Basic Dance Steps: Contains a set of steps which relates to the movement of each part of the body. It also helps with the dance flow, musicality, improves confidence and corrects posture.
Dance choreography: Creating dance steps to musical beats or lyrics, keeping in mind the audience, the stage, the number of performers, and the level of the performers.
Follow The Feet: Learn the technique of grasping moves easily by following the trainer.
Cool down: A great technique to relax the muscles after dancing. It provides physical relaxation and improves mental concentration with suitable music.

Bollywood: SDP specialises in Bollywood style of dance. Bollywood dances appear in Indian films combining Indian classical and western styles expressing the inner emotions of the dancer. It has universal appeal due to its combination of styles making it fun and accessible for all levels of ability.
Salsa: There is no doubt Salsa is one of the most exciting partner dances you can learn. It is a brilliant, fast and sensual dance that inspires Latin rhythms in everyone.The time it takes you to learn your first few steps and be able to dance is far, far shorter than you might think.It is perfectly possible to learn enough steps and moves in a couple of classes to prepare you to go to a Salsa social and dance the night away without making a fool of yourself.
Belly Dance: Belly Dancing is a beautiful Egyptian Dance and is growing in popularity in Bangalore. Any woman can do it and feel great.It is part dance, part attitude and part mood. And the atmosphere you can create is mesmerizing. It is a peek into a tantalizingly beautiful and mysterious world. It’s time to examine how you really feel about your belly. This is one class where actually having one is a distinct advantage over a wash-board belly.
Ballroom Dancing: So you want to ballroom dance? You're about to enter a world of class, tradition, and loads of fun. Ballroom dance includes many styles of traditional partner dances from several parts of the world and different eras like Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot and Tango. What’s common among these dance forms is the expectation that the dance is polite and the dancer's dance-floor relationship is somewhat formal. (Ballroom dancing is never "Dirty Dancing"--even the more sensual styles such as the Tango are stylized. The sexuality of the dance exists in innuendo, not in hot and sweaty contact between the dancers).
SDP offers only personal Ballroom dancing classes for individual or groups.
Hip Hop: Hip Hop classes are great fun but very hard work if you want to dance well. Hip Hop is a cover-all term for modern street dance, and draws its inspiration from many street dancing styles, old and new such as Popping, locking, B-Boying & B-Girling.
Kids Dance 2 B fit: It is our latest method of dance-exercise for young kids. Based on the latest dance moves and latest music our young participants can overcome their body consciousness and tone up muscles while learning basic dance steps. Dance helps develop a better sense of rhythm, enhances coordination, tones up and then stretches out those worked out muscles and improves memory power. It is a fun and dynamic way to learn the art of dance.
Contemporary Dance: Contemporary dance is characterised by its versatility. It can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement. Contemporary dance seeks to work with the natural alignment of the body, and is therefore safe and accessible for beginners. At the same time, the ease of movement promoted by contemporary dance technique allows experienced dancers to push new boundaries of body movement. Classes focus on developing strong rhythmic connections, isolations, levels and spatial awareness. Contemporary dance tends to be intricate and physical.
Jazz: Exciting and fun, Jazz dance is full of energy, expressiveness and physical conditioning. The emphasis is on rhythm, style, coordination and self-confidence.
The first part of the class combines warm-up and stretching exercises, while the second part is a fun and challenging dance routine.

SDP is a teaching unit which produces dancers. It has dance courses at 7 levels.
LEVEL 1: BASIC DANCE COURSE - 24 sessions
Learn dance from scratch. Learn the correct posture and increase flexibility. This is a beginner’s course meant for those who haven’t danced before.
LEVEL2: INTERMEDIATE DANCE COURSE - 24 sessions
Learn the technique of dancing and increase your confidence. This course is for those familiar with the basics of dance. To join this course, you should have minimum of one year dance experience or qualified in SDP’s LEVEL 1 Dance Course (auditions are a requirement for those interested in joining this course directly).
LEVEL 3: ADVANCED DANCE COURSE - 24 sessions
This course will make dancing seem effortless and easy. This course moulds the students with advanced basics. Training will be given to start dancing professionally.
LEVEL 4: GROUP PERFORMER COURSE - 24 sessions
This course will give training to perform on stage with a group. It focuses on synchronisation techniques, stage concepts and energy.
LEVEL 5: MAIN PERFORMER COURSE - 24 sessions
Expressing facially and through body language with perfect finishing and energy. This course will mould the student into a solo performer and lead performer in group performances.
LEVEL 6: DANCE CHOREOGRAPHER COURSE - 24 sessions
This course will train the student to create dance moves of his own, by considering music, performers, stage and type of event.
LEVEL 7: DANCE TRAINER COURSE - 24 sessions
Become a master of dance. This course will train a student to develop his/her personality in the field of dance. This includes: smart teaching techniques, core knowledge of style, understanding students, voice modulation, eye contact, time management, teaching flexible dance moves andmotivating students.
